You can explore your own country anytime. So why deal with visas, jet lag, and not understanding the menu? Let's figure out what other countries give you that your homeland simply can't.

  • How does visiting another country change your opinion about your own country?
  • What is the main reason people travel: to relax, to learn, or to have adventures?
  • Is it possible to understand another culture without going there? Why or why not?
  • What can you get from international travel that you cannot get from watching YouTube videos about that country?
  • What life skills can you only learn by traveling abroad (not at home)?
  • Have you ever been in a difficult situation abroad (lost passport, missed flight, got sick)? Did it teach you something?
  • Some people say: "Travel makes you rich even if you have no money." What does that mean? Do you agree?
